Watererer's debut album began as a sound test for the newly built Woolslayer Traveling Studio, which now no longer travels. David Bernabo (also of Host Skull and How Things Are Made) was writing two types of music--a series of written-and-recorded-on-the-spot double tracked acoustic songs and elaborate eight and nine and ten-piece orchestrations. In August 2019, percussionist PJ Roduta stopped by the studio and four hours later, knocked out all the drums for the record. The rest of this studio band--a really creative, super talented, and dedicated group of musicians--recorded their tracks and Watererer was born. This record is the product of a space and the people involved in its creation.
